KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon – An even-par final round by Natalie Mullins helped the true freshman earn medalist honors and propel the College of Idaho to a team championship at the Oregon Tech Invitational at Running Y Ranch.
Complete Results Her efforts helped C of I card a final round 319 – their eighth-lowest team score in program history – to surge past both Corban and Oregon Tech for the team crown (332-319-651), the Yotes first Cascade Conference win since 2011. Corban finished second (326-327-653), four strokes behind C of I, with OIT in third (331-333-664).
Mullins, who sat four strokes out of the lead after Monday's opening round, became the fourth C of I player to shoot a round of 72 or better – finishing eight shots clear of the field (80-72-152). It was the first medalist honor by a Lady Yote since Baylee Borchers won the Northwest Christian Invitational during the 2013-14 season.
