Four College of Idaho track and field athletes were among the 605 student-athletes honored today as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, announced prior to Day 2 of the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Marion, Ind.
Andi Hayes, Hailey Bull, Elynn Smith, and Andrew Hugill were honored for having being at least a junior in academic status and maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better at The C of I.
A total of 28 C of I student-athletes have been honored this season (13 in the fall, three in the winter, 12 this spring) - with baseball yet to be announced.
